2025 HAFI Design 216
The HAFI Design 216 was honoured with the German Design Award 2025 in the ‘Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements’ category.
Inspired by the striking wooden facade of ‘The Cradle’ in Düsseldorf, designed by HPP Architekten, the lever handle integrates the diamond-shaped elements of the façade into its handle. With elegant colour combinations such as PVD black, bronze, brass, rose gold and matt brushed stainless steel, Design 216 offers a wide range of design options. It includes solutions for windows, interior, profile and lift and slide doors and impresses with its consistent aesthetics that fulfil the functional requirements of DIN 18273 and DIN EN 1906.
2021 HAFI Premium Design 244 Design by UNStudio
For its outstanding design, the HAFI Model 244, designed by UNStudio, was honored with a Special Award at the German Design Award in the “Excellent Product Design: Building and Elements” category.
The design concept of the 244 door handle combines a very classic basic geometry with a standout design feature—a high-gloss polished front. Together, these characteristics ensure excellent ergonomics while also opening up interesting options for surface design.
The German Design Award is one of the world’s most recognized design competitions and is presented by the German Design Council.
2016 HAFI Premium Design 233 – Design by COOP HIMMELB(L)AU
The HAFI Design 233, designed by COOP HIMMELB(L)AU, received a Special Award at the German Design Award in the “Excellent Product Design Building” category.
The versatile HAFI door handle, designed by the architects at Wolf D. Prix & Partners, impressed the jury with its elegant lines, which combine functionality and aesthetics in a dynamic, ergonomic form.
The German Design Award is one of the world’s most recognized design competitions.
