The "Château Pédesclaux" estate, listed since 1855, is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Pauillac. As part of the modernisation of wine production, the building was to be made more efficient, but still blend in with the beautiful surroundings of the château.
The château itself with its old slate roof was preserved, the wine cellar was rebuilt and the vineyard restructured. Quite characteristic of the French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte is the precision and finesse of the design down to the smallest detail.
