In the competition for the expansion of the North Frisia district administration building in Husum, the design by Winking · Froh Architects was awarded first prize. The new building expands the office space to three levels, creating clear boundaries to the campus park and an urban square on Marktstraße. The ground floor opens up generously and connects the green corridor with the entrance area.
The district administration building complements the series of identity-defining buildings designed by Winking · Froh Architects in Husum, including the town hall at the inland port, the exhibition hall, and the fish restaurant at the inland port.
The HAFI Design 209 can be found on around 450 doors in the district office building.
