The Letziturm in Zurich Altstetten is around 75 metres high and, together with the listed timber warehouse, forms an urban development unit. The restructuring of existing commercial and industrial areas is creating a new urban district in the western part of the city along the railway line between Altstetten station and Hardbrücke. The Letzi residential tower block, which is located at the urban transition to Flurstrasse and the SBB workshops, plays a pioneering role in this comprehensive urban transformation process. The building houses a total of 177 flats. Commercial space and studios are located on the ground floor.
