A new logistics campus is being built in Schwäbisch Gmünd for Weleda, the global market leader for certified natural cosmetics and anthroposophic medicines. The aim of the new campus is to centralise international and national sales logistics as well as parts of production logistics.
The new Weleda logistics campus is considered a beacon for sustainable industrial construction because it is in line with Weleda's values. The building sections of the new campus blend harmoniously into their surroundings. With walls made of rammed earth and wooden shelving for 17,000 pallets, the campus sets standards for sustainable construction. The architect of the pioneering campus is MICHELGROUP GmbH from Ulm.
The logistics campus is scheduled to go into operation in summer 2024.
