The new building for DekaBank in Frankfurt extends over 10 storeys with a gross floor area of approx. 50,000 m². With its striking and inviting architecture, the new building is a central element in the redevelopment of the residential and office quarter on Lyoner Strasse.
The office blocks are characterised by large glass façades on the front sides, which allow wide views in and out. They look like monitors that hover above a two-storey plinth and connect the office blocks with each other.
The building is accessed from Lyoner Strasse, where visitors first enter a two-storey entrance hall. The conference rooms are mainly located on the first floor, while the office space extends from the second to the eighth floor. The design of the open spaces has created a high-quality outdoor area. The inner courtyard serves as a place for communal activities and for relaxing in the greenery, but also as a place of retreat and a break zone. Terraces and roof gardens further extend this outdoor space.
Around 1,800 HAFI Design 203 window handles in matt stainless steel were installed in the new building.
